MARS is open to all children from age 7-17 regardless of skating ability. Our team of talented coaches will have your child skating like a Pro in no time! Our program is designed with safety in mind! Your child will learn correct skating techniques that will allow them to quickly excel!

​I Want to Join! What do I need?
All Skaters are required to have the following equipment and safety gear to practice:

Skateboarding, Hockey or Extreme Sports Helmet

Mouthguard

Quad Style Roller Skates
​MARS offers loaner gear to those without their own equipment. We ask you provide your own mouthguard, because that would be gross if we shared those!

NOT SURE IF JUNIOR DERBY IS FOR YOU? NEED TO GIVE IT A TRY FIRST?
That's Okay! We know that sometimes we take a leap, give something a try and discover it's not for us. Thats why MARS offers a "Try It Out" program to all incoming skaters! New skaters are eligible to practice with the team for 4 consecutive practices! After that, we ask that if you have fallen in love with junior derby, you make the commitment and officially join us as a MARS skater!
